Jaw crusher and impact crusher belong to the crusher equipment, and there are some similarities in the role and characteristics of the two crushers, so what is the difference between the jaw crusher and impact crusher?
What is the difference between jaw crusher and impact crusher?
Here we mainly analyze from the production capacity, working principle and operation effect:
- Production capacity
(1) Jaw crusher is widely used in coarse crushing and medium crushing operations of various materials with compressive strength below 320MPa, and the output is up to 1000t/h.
(2) Impact crusher is suitable for coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing of all kinds of soft and medium hard ores, with output up to 30-800t/h.
- Working principle
(1) Jaw crusher’s main parts are jaw plate, motor drive belt and pulley. The movable jaw moves up and down through the eccentric shaft, and the material is crushed by multiple forces such as extrusion, rubbing and grinding.
(2) Impact crusher is to use the impact plate as the broken parts of the equipment, under the drive of the motor to produce extrusion force, so as to achieve the crushing of various materials. The finished product grain shape is good, but the wear rate of vulnerable parts is high.
- Operation effect
(1) The finished sand and stone processed by the jaw crusher have uniform particles, but the size is not good enough to meet the current demand for sand for infrastructure construction. Some additional crushing and sand making equipment are needed. Feed size:120-1500 mm, finished size: 10-350mm.
(2) Impact crusher has shaping effect. The stone and sand processed by impact crusher has reasonable grading, less needle content, and can be directly used. Feed size: 300-800mm, finished size: 5-200mm.
